Benn talking a load of trashy **** and then getting owned and stopped by Michael Watson was my favourite....I don't hate Benn but back in those days he was a nasty piece of work. He did the same thing when he fought Eubank, talked crap and ended up looking a **** when he got KO'd :rofl

benn is a nice guy really just was getting fueled by promoters to be the next best thing to sliced bread.

he later became a more easy on the ear type guy later on.

but he truely underated watson who was one of those sleepers. i am also sure given other circumstances that watson woudl of been a very respectable world champ...sadly didnt come through

MAB over Hamed was a good one.

Calzaghe over Lacy (only an upset to those who watched little boxing)

Now sure why you picked Douglad/Tyson, don't you think that was bad for boxing though? :huh

 Thats actually pretty restrained compared to some of the things I've heard!

In hindsight it was bad because Douglas didn't even bother training for his fight with Holyfield.

No I don't think it was bad for boxing. I always thought of Tyson as somewhat of a hype job, and Douglas proved me right. When Buster went down, and then GOT BACK UP, Iron Mike unravelled. He had no idea how to deal with that. Great champions do not fall apart just because a guy gets back up after a kd. Some other poster named Holyfield over Tyson as an upset. I do not remember the odds at the time, but I NEVER considered that an upset. It was, and still is, my opinion that Tyson himself was very bad for boxing. Sure he had a huge fan base, and a lot of casual fans and even non-boxing fans took an interest in him, but then what happens; he goes to prison for ****, gets out and bites an opponents ****ing ear off! the guy is straight out of the Jerry Springer show!
