Since Mayweather is most likely fighting Berto by the sounds of it, has there ever been an upset as big as Berto beating Floyd? Douglas vs Tyson maybe?

Anything can happen in boxing but Berto upsetting mayweather is definitely a miracle.

as we know though miracles don't exist.

It wouldn't be on the level of Douglas-Tyson

It would take someone like Fariz Mammadov to beat Floyd to put it on Douglas-Tyson level. It would be pretty ****ing huge if Berto did though, probably the shock of this decade.

It would definately be on Tyson Douglas level. Tyson fought a few top fighters. Maywether has gone his whole career undefeated fighting top fighters. Tyson 5 years undefeated. May weather 20 years. Massive difference. probably be a bbigger upset than Tyson Douglas. Berto is hand picked by Floyd. Nobody believes berto stands a chance. Mayweather is closing in on 50-0. Imagine Andre berto upset that. This would be the BIGGEST UPSET OF ALL TIME!!! There no arguing that actually

Mayweather v.s. Berto is the most terrible mismatch.

Yeah, I agree. It would be a huge upset but Douglas - Tyson is unmatchable.

Good shout but similar to Floyd-Berto, the ATG in the equation was very old and faded from top form... Nobody mentions Ali-Spinks in greatest upset ever discussions because of the circumstances. Factoring in their careers as a whole, obviously this would qualify as one of the biggest. But that's not how it works. Just like how Mayweather is in his 4th division and 38 years old now. He should have lost by now. It would certainly be a huge one but I don't believe on the short list of biggest ever.

I actually think it's nearly impossible for Berto to win, I don't give him even a miniscule of chances. I mean most of the time I can see how an upset could possibly happen even if it's unlikely, in this case I just don't see Floyd losing.

    Always a chance.

Berto can crack. Floyd, although has one of the best chins in the game, could have deteriorated to a level where he could go down from the lightest breeze.

Ffs Ray Robinson got knocked down by Joey Archer (Someone who couldn't crack an egg with 10 power punches)

When people lose their physical gifts, it becomes very very apparent.

Yeah but people are acting like Floyd is a shot fighter who's a shadow of his former self, he's still the best fighter in the world, he's still looking good in his latest fights.

There's no way Berto is knocking out Floyd, not a chance in hell, he's not even going to land the punches needed to knock Floyd out it will be a terrible schooling.
