Best fighters never to win titles or who won and quickly lost them?

Don't bring up Tyson or RJJ because of what they "could have" been-- those guys achieved a lot in winning multiple titles, becoming undisputed, making many defenses.

You're asking different questions here. Biggest waste of talent or ''Best fighters never to win titles or who won and quickly lost them?''.

Biggest waste of talent - Tyrell Biggs perhaps
Best fighter never to win titles - Herol Graham
Best fighter to win and quickly lose a title - Buster Douglas

    Tony Ayala
    Ike Ibeabuchi
    Ricardo Williams

Then there are other guys who achieved a good deal, but should have done a lot more.

    Hector Camacho Sr.
    Michael Nunn
    Riddick Bowe
    Mike Tyson

The best fighters to never win titles were Sam Langford and Charley Burley.

They didn't waste their talent, they were just unfortunate to be in the eras they were in.

Panchito Bojado was the biggest let down of the 00's. He had the skills of a season vet, punching power, and natural talent. Discipline was his biggest weakness.

Mike Tyson and Joe Calzaghe are the biggest modern wases of talent, any way you look at it.

Charley Burley and Sam Langford are the two fighters who could have been great, great champions but never got to fight for titles.

Naz, Tyson and other long reigning Champs are terrible examples.

You're right-- I'm asking two different things. I just want to know about the fighters who had a lot, but didn't use it.

Ike Ibeabuchi for me. I don't think he would've beaten Lewis, but there's no denying that he was a great talent. Going toe to toe with Tua for 12 rounds comes with its price though that was probably just one of many factors.
