Boxers have always amazed us by gaining tremendous amounts of weights between fights and showing up a fight night FAT. What boxer has gained the most amount of weight in the shortest amount of time for a fight. Can this be beat? John Little who faced Travis Walker in his pro debut weighed 300 lbs. This was in December 2009. In his next fight, in Feb. 2010, he weighed 369 pounds!! Thats 69 pounds in two months. 69 in two months can that be beat? Any boxers out there gain 100 pounds in 3 or something? 200 in 6 months? 69 in two is outrageous to me. Other notables were Gerald Nobles when he gained a lot after beating Bruce Seldon. His next fight, 4 months later, he was 42 pounds heavier. There are more, probably better examples but I dont know where to start!!
you should look for the "100 pounds challenge" thread. where we had to find boxers who had put on the most weight throughout a career. we foudn a guy who weighed a trim and ready 300 pounds to a more bolder more squidgy 450lbs
i remember michal moore went from 175 to 225 in a few months..i remeber thinking at the time he must be juicing hard., thats over 50lbs and and it wasent fat
Or... he was cooking down from 210-220lbs to 175lbs for his fights and that was simply his bodies natural weight.
I understood John Little's weight gain can be due to the fact that some scales do not go above 300 pounds. Although the fighter's weight is recorded as 300 in this case, it means 300+.
I mean not between fights but weight on fight night or at weigh in. For example fighter A weighed 170 for his Jan. fight and in April fight of the same year he weighs in at 210 pounds Sumin like that
