It's not a bad fight. Two blue collar guys who put forth a good effort, in an arena that will be full of loud fans, on basic cable on a Thursday night. It's perfectly fine for what it's trying to be. It's not an HBO or PPV fight.

Both guys will be going all out to win, because a loss really hurts either career at this point. I love fights like this.

Fully agree with you. Boxing is not only the big HBO shows. Even some very local fights are interesting if you really like the sport.

True...in fact, what kind of a mainstream "sport" would it be if it were only/mainly an HBO type affair?:huh

    Sometimes I watch the
Sometimes I watch the undercards of GYM events, on the Montreal community tv. I mean the real undercards, guys at their first bout against another one from Argentina with three times more defeats than wins. Sometimes, it gives super fights. Often, it's ****. ;) But I still like it.

Exactly. The sport needs as much coverage as possible. And having a local show in Providence that is televised on basic cable is good for everyone involved.

Good point. It's all about matchmaking. Even two guys with losing records can put on a good show if they are matched correctly.

I got Bika in a knockout late.

Nice to see lesser known fighters get their dues here.
