I am looking forward to this fight.

Manfredo has shown some improvement in his fight against Lacy. He is experienced and fairly well rounded, although unspectacular. A technical fight would suit him, but with the stakes as high as they are for both, Bika is particularly unlikely to give him anything but a brawl. I doubt Manfredo is disciplined and skilled enough to pick Manfredo apart whilst boxing with perfect composure with Bika diving at him wrecklessly. If Bika performs well, he should win clearly. If Manfredo overperforms against a poor Bika, it is possible that he wins a close decision, particularly fighting at home. More likely however, Bika will be his usual aggressive self and will drag Manfredo into deeper waters than he is used to, not least in order to take the decision out of the hands of the judges. My pick is Bika by T/KO in the late rounds.

As some posters have mentioned, Bika is getting better, slightly; he is the more technical and complete fighter in this match-up...is he good enough to keep Bika at bay and fight a technical fight with Bika doing his best to turn it into a brawl? Can he control the fight if Bika wants to make it really rought? Could anyone but Bika win a rough fight against him, unless your name is Calzaghe and you give your all, or unless you're tough like hell and iron-chinned and have some power?

I think Bika will win this one. I'm rooting for Manfredo though and hopefully he can find a way to pull off the upset. Is Freddie Roach still training Manfredo or has his dad taken over?

Dam, I was hoping he had Roach training him for this fight. I guess Manfredo's slim chance of winning the fight left the house. :-(

I'm pulling for Pete myself. A few years ago I worked out at his Dad's gym in Pawtucket. They were cool people and I've been hoping Manfredo wins most of his fights since then.

Manfredo is fairly tough and he has a farily good chin too. If he's smart, he will not play right into Bika's hands by going to war. That should buy him some time to try and figure Bika out a bit more.
