A curiosity if anything but here you have the champion (Bika) dropped in the 5th round and he comes back to punish and almost stop Dirrell the very next round. Bika continues to fight like a champion wanting to keep his belt the rest of the fight and even in the last 10 seconds of the fight Bika is coming forward wanting to fight but Dirrell turns his back and runs.

My questions are: If a boxer (in this case Dirrell) literally turns his back on his opponent and runs away, is that not a sign of a boxer not wanting to fight and pretty much quitting? I understand it's the last 10 seconds and the "runner" somehow thinks he has won but in this case it was way over the top. It's one thing for a boxer to "run" by using side to side shuffling away and back from an opponent but to turn his back and run away? Could a point deduction occur?

Was just another case of talking a good fight in the lead up but not liking what was happening in the ring so transforming into survival mode.
