    Just sayin...

Word is Jrs people are eyeing this fight. Bika is a tough, strong dude and more importantly he's a ****ing head case. The guy has a screw loose and while Jr is a strong kid he's also kind of a privileged brat. Dunno if he's gonna be able to handle this walking basket case of a fighter.

If Jr wants a smw belt he'd be better off going after Rob's. I seriously think Bika takes this unless Bob and the WBC intervene some way.

No slight to Jr...but I'm just sayin...

    What say you all?

I say this would be a great fight to watch. The fight with Periban was close, and I think Jr. is better than Periban. I'll give this fight to Jr. He's got the chin to withstand some punishment from Bika, while giving some of his own.

This would be an EASY sell:

JULIO CESAR CHAVEZ JR. is back, and he's trying to become the first Mexican born Super Middleweight Champion ever! Can he do it?! Tune in to HBO and find out!!!!!

Julio wins and everything that happened with Martinez is forgiven. :)

He loses and boxing might lose a cash cow. lol

It's a dangerous fight for jr. Like you said, he loses it may be over. I don't see him being able to get back down to MW...let alone the 158 he said he could make for the right fight.

The only fight that makes sense for him at 160 is a Martinez rematch. He won't fight GGG. Not at 160 at least. With Martinez he already knows what to expect, and he has already felt the hardest punches Martinez has to offer.

IF, big if, he is able to get down to 160, I think he has a great chance of beating a worn out Martinez. I love Martinez, but I'd bet money on it. He won't be as "meek" in a rematch.

I think Chavez Jr schools Bika. Bika has gone down a level, from the fighter he was against Calzaghe, Bute and Ward. He is very sloppy and wild. Chavez will box his ears off.

I don't really think Jr has the skills to 'school' anyone. He's big, strong and resilient and he has improved in terms of boxing ability, but Bika ain't just a gritty brawler.

I ain't even sure Jr gets past Vera - he should if he's taking it seriously, but Vera ain't a walkover. JCC Jrs biggest edge has always been his size, it remains to be seen how well he'll transition up. At 168 he might just not retain the resilience and power advantage he needs to make him a contender. Either case Vera ain't gonna make it easy, and we should get an idea of Jrs future prospects.

Bika, a more natural SMW, and for me a far more complete fighter than Vera is a whole different proposition. If Jr beats Vera convincingly, it might be time to start asking the question, but the fact is we ain't even seen Jr in the ring since he was himself schooled by Maravilla. All we know is that right now he ain't looking even close to trim, which to me is never a good sign.

I agree I don't see jr walking through bika. I wouldn't be putting him in there with bika. Hell I wouldn't allow my fighter in there with him I've always said he's crazy.
