I had a random opportunity to speak Sakio today through a friend at the Coogee Palace. What a great bloke he is, i remembered this thread and asked him about it, he reckons the green fight should hopefully be made in the next few days, and some major fights ahead if he wins it.

Love Bika to win, but he has done **** all rounds the last couple of years and he is gonna be in with someone that can hit harder than him.

I went and watched Sakio v Calzaghe and due to Sakio's ackwardness and rough house tactics made Calzaghe look like ****.If he can do the same with green i feel Sakio will win a via UD...

Alan Green can bang but i feel Sakio is the wrong guy for Green to be fighting.

Man Sakio has fought some top notch fighters(Calzaghe,Bute and now Green).

Mate if Bika had a glove on his forehead he would have UD'd Calzaghe , when Joe settled down (Post Enzo bollocking ) the difference in class showed , Bika is the best 168lb'r down under though imo he would batter Mundine at S/M and would make a decent fist of it @ L/Heavy V Green .

Yeah mate im full aware he didnt win the fight(Calzaghe sorted his **** out by round 5-6)but Sakio has the style to give fighters fits and has the power to also be a threat..

We are talking ALAN GREEN here not Joe Calzaghe so i think Sakio should take this one..And yes your right Sakio would own Mundine.

Dont get why he would want to fight the Winner of the Oz contender when he has the Winner of the massive U.S based Contender sitting around looking for a fight..

Woudnt that be a great way to get some worldwide attention??

I guess Mundine hasnt seen a map before..Going to Tassy one off aint hitting the World stage..Though it is a different country:hey.

In all honesty when both fighters were at their best 2005-2006 Bika wouldn't land a gove on Mundine @ 168lbs.

Today it might be a different story

bika wasn't at his best in 2005 or 2006. One tap from bika and its game over for mundane, he hits harder than crazy kim

I spoke to Sakio at Star city Casino awhile back and he said the negotiations didnt go any further then 1st base due to Mundine's antics.

He wanted to promote, assign the judges among other things..Also the dosh was low..He obviously didnt give me a figure but if he says it was small i believe him..

Sakio has a bigger name then Mundine Worldwide and has probably mixed it with better opposition aswell.

    Bute and Calzaghe..Enough said..

Bika is bloody strong for 168. He gave JC a lot of trouble, some legal, some not, but he gave him a hard defence. I would go for him over Mundine every time.

The dosh was his all time high according to most that have commented on it. There is noway a bloke who telegraphs his right hand from 4 mtrs away will beat Mundine on pts. His uppercuts from 6 mtrs away are even worse. He loves stopping punches with his big noggin aswell.

Danny Green has also mixed it with better opposition.

We'll have to agree on something soon Ozzie...:huh Panthers maybe wooden spooners this year :D

Loo why WOULDNT Bika fight Mundine??

Aint like he is trying to protect a perfect record. He has also travelled and loss to better fighters then Mundine so i believe what SAKIO said to me personally that he didnt agree with the Money etc..
