Bika vs Codrington -To me, the Best fight ever

    It was the best fight I have ever seen, and ive seen some brawls in my lifetime as a boxing fan, but honestly there was not a boring moments in the entire fight, it had something that i have not seen in other fights ive watched, so for me it takes the crown no doubt.

    There should be a Rematch between these 2

    I picked Bika to win from day 1 so im excited about his win and who has the balls to face him now.

    It was a great fight no doubt, it was a fight that the average fan could get into. It was a brawl from the opening bell, If we keep getting matches like this the UFC will go out of business IMO.

    I wouldn't say it's the best fight I've EVER seen, but then I likely have been watching boxing longer than you. That said, it was the best fight I've seen in a LONG time, in terms of sustained action and excitement. The CLEAR fight of the year, imo.

    After watching it again, Definitely Fight of the Year. Sorry Marquez & Vasquez. Round one is the round of the year also. Replaces rd 3 of vasquez-marquez.

    True, of course i only got to see replays of Hears/Hagler etc, but when i saw this fight i forgot about Barrera/Morales, Ward/Gotti, Castillo/Corrales so thats when i realize i was watching one of the best fight ever, at least the best one ive seen.

    Am I the only person here who didn't even think it was the best fight of the week? After the first round, it was just way too sloppy for my tastes.

    It was definitely the type of fight the average fan can get into and enjoy, I think fights like this will bring more fans to the sport.

    Bika-Codrington was a good fight, but I didn't like it as much as a lot of other people did.

    Kessler-Calzaghe was more skillful and technical, fought at a higher level, but not as violent.

    Lets say Bika - Codington was the most crowd pleasing fight of the year. I enjoyed it very much.
    But when it comes to technicals skills, Calzaghe-Kessler was three leagues above that fight and was a world class boxing fight.

    It was a good fight, but not a great one, how people say it was the best fight they have ever seen is beyond me:huh
    Haven't some of you guy's seen Ali-Frazier, or Hearns-Leonard 1??

    I prefer to see guy's on a higher skill level..

    Hell Cali-Kessler was a better fight than Bika-Codrington.:D
