Im sure there a plenty of reasons or factors as to why Bika has been so inactive. Other than injuries and personal family matters, risk vs reward surely comes into play. But I also think his management team (if any) play a big part. Managers need to be on the ball when it comes to marketing and negotiating their fighter with promoters, matchmakers, TV networks etc...In short they are basically a salesmen trying to entice promoters/TV networks/Sponsors/General consumer with a product they believe are the best in the world and can add value to any promotion...unfortunately, due to greed, unreasonable requests, fear of failure, risk, reputation, incompetence, a breakdown in negotiation and communication occurs. This usually results in a fighter being dropped, which I assume is the case with Sakio. Without going into too much detail, my tips for Sakio would be: Take the tough title fights in Oz but be prepared to take a pay cut unless of course its Mundine/Green or anyone else that adds significant value. Move overseas and sign with a reputable Promoter or HBO/Showtime (if they are interested) his win on Contender will surely add credibility Set up his own Promotion Company which I personally would of done with some of the winnings from contender series Just my 10 cents worth!
He has no.2 pretty much covered. Al Haymon gets just about all of his fighters on HBO. If he beats Brinkley he is Bute's mando. I'd imagine that will be on HBO.
