Yeah is almost anti-boxing really. I always felt this way about Ricky Hatton. It's just a boxing match full of fouling. Garbage to watch.
Yesterdays fight was bad but their first fight was good. It's a bit hit and miss with Sakio he's hardly a ring technician but some of his fights are fun to watch.
It depends on the opponent...although yes, when bad it really is quite unbearably bad, and is mostly Bika's fault. Things improved a bit under Kevin Cunningham, actually - but obviously the Dirrell rematch showed that even with some fine-tuning and working on some actual boxing skills (as opposed to just wrestling and brawling) he is capable of being in some absolute stinkers if the style clash is bad - which is a coin toss any given night with Bika.
:bart Truer of Bika than Ward. (although, ironically, Bika is the more likely to produce highlight-reel knockdowns or knockouts than Ward...but in terms of the actual grind, who is more viewable per 36 minute session, I think Ward is actually far less gruesome to behold)
Never a truer word spoken. His fights constantly go to sh*t. I would rather watch Ward over Bika all day.
Bika is frustrating the same way Vic Darch is too watch, when they actually use a decent jab and straight punches etc to set up a knock out they look brilliant, but then majority of the time they swing like untrained brawlers from the get go and you know they are going to not win a many rounds against technical boxers.
