    @DERAM
    You may be right... - in time.....
    Right about now the jc - kess fight means absolutely nothing. - win or loose
    - except for hardcore boxing fans. We've been screaming for this fight to happen for a long time now. The average fan doesn't care. It will do nothin for jc's legacy unless Kessler goes on to be an all time great. The way it is now jc has never met any great fighters. None! So I just don't see him as an atg. He is a little overrated and I think he will be exposed when he fights kessler.

    Well, the average fan cares. As much as the average fan cares about any fight out there. Which is not always a lot until the wheels start rolling and the hype is turned on.

    They just take whatever is on and hyped enough. But fighters know that while Butterbean may sell tickets to these average fans, he will not get a legacy - that he can look back on when he is old and grey..

    Joe is certainly no ATG atm. He is HOF imo. though, but to make ATG he would need to fight Kessler, Hops and win at least one of those. Then he would be close but probably still not get in. Probably Kessler, Hopkins and Taylor winning at least 2 of those.
