Hugie Fury just like Tyson has his PED hearing on Nov 4th and will most likely be banned for a while.

Why push it to december 10th?

They should keep the October date in Manchester.

Both Ustinov and Ortiz should be in fighting shape, considering they were supposed to meet each other soon.

Wlad and Hughie were supposed to fight on the card, so why not match both with Ustinov/Ortiz? The TV dates are set, the venue is set, there should be enough money available to make it happen.

Both fights could be for titles or at least mandatory positions

Kimbo is the skill level Joshua has been fighting. Wonder who Hearn can dig up next? Even Wilder has fought better opponents than Joshua.

I just adore how a fighter/their team can "make it a title fight". ****ing blows my mind some times.

Wlad is old and he needs to fight this year, to get the ring rust out of his system so he can atleast challenge for the belts that Fury has dumped in April/May/June of next year

    Yes

    Wlad is trained for Oct.

Why not keep that date and time slot set and pick another opponent. It's still five weeks away for a different opponent to prepare for Wlad

Ortiz would be great choice, as has been said. But Joshua would be the best Possible opponent and has a title to put up

Well, if the WBA and WBO belts are vacated, Wlad should fight either Luis Ortiz (who is rated #1 by the WBA and Wlad is rated #2) or Wlad should fight Joseph Parker (who is rated #1 by the WBO and Wlad is rated #2).

But why do I get the sick feeling we're going to see Wlad Klitschko vs. Andy Ruiz (#3 WBO) for the vacant WBO belt?

Wlad-Ruiz (or Leapai 2) on the way? (I just threw up in my mouth a little.)

Ruiz wasn't willing to fight Hughie Fury he isn't going to fight Wlad. Would be hilarious if he did though he would get destroyed.

Maybe he wasn't willing to fight Hughie Fury because Wlad's team already called him about fighting in December for a vacant title? Wlad's team knows more about what's going on behind the scenes than the news reporters do.

Fat Dan said on his chat on Friday that Ruiz is a head case and not made mentally for boxing. I doubt he pulled out to fight Wlad who despite being 40 would tee off on a midget like Ruiz.

Wlad vs Someone for a vacated title is what I think we will end up seeing

But we will have to wait until the sanctioning bodies announce their decision before Wlad decides who (for which vacated belt) he is going to fight

But.....If they do not strip Fury, It will be interesting to see who Wlad chooses to fight as a stay busy fight.....
