Clearly, the brains of the Louisville Sponsoring Group.

Managed Cassius Clay perfectly, and avoided the early difficult fights
that may have pressed a young Cassius Clay.

Faversham believed, that the 1963/1964 Cleveland Williams would be
a more dangerous fight, than the plodding Sonny Liston.

The goal of Bill Faversham, was to keep Cassius Clay undefeated and get him a title fight in his familiar surroundings of Miami Beach.

Once the proposed bout between Sonny Liston vs. Ingemar Johansson
(at the the time, the biggest possible money fight out there) fell through,
Cassius Clay was the only other viable big money fight, that would
bring in over $4,000,000 for I-C-P, Sonny Liston and the promoters.

    Ronnie James,

Not sure on that PM question.
Not sure if anyone ever heard of that proposal.

Fight in Sweden for the Fall of 1963.
Willie Pastrano vs Ingemar Johansson (with the winner to fight Sonny Liston in 1964)
    and undercard
Cassius Clay vs Harold Johnson or Franco DePiccoli (1960 Olympic Heavyweight Gold Medal Winner)
