He's becoming more and more of a delusional tool. Like Teofimo Sr he's mostly living off his own son's success for the glory without doing anything but talk.

Crazy Bill still tells the media Matias team never got back to him when they invited Bill Haney to a meeting in Arizona to discuss a price. Bill declined the Matias meeting to meet with Sandor Martin instead. Bill Haney confirmed he met with Sandor Martin on Mill City Boxing. Bill pays step aside money because Sandor is the mandatory for Haney. Now Bill has a Ryan Garcia fight. Devin/Bill don't even have Matias listed as the next 3 opponents they want, so unifying 140 won't happen anytime soon. Bill Haney has so much criticism for Floyd, yet Bill acts like a clown, talking about shooting people. He loves holding lies and having his minion fanbase push the narrative throughout YouTube and Instagram. Bill understands algorithms and if his word gets out often, enough people would believe it. They would believe it so much they'll never question Bill and his BS.

Once that day arrives boxing will be saved. But then again the Haneys can easily use the weight excuse to bail Devin out of any kind of trouble. Using their cheating ways as an advantage more ways than one

Yeah I notice that Teofimo Sr is becoming more level headed these days. I think he’s finally come to terms with the fact that his son really isn’t as good as he thought. Meanwhile Teo is still being delusional as ever.

It’s a crazy contrast between the Lopez’s and the Haney’s when comparing both fathers and sons.

And that's what makes a potential fight between the two (or four) so interesting. Their like two sides of the same coin or something like that lol.

I'd buy that PPV in an instant

It's probably true to be fair. Floyd has always struggled badly against slickness and when facing world class opponents with a comparable reach or a reach advantage which to be fair he rarely ever did

Floyd forged a career feasting on meat and potatoes plodders, avoiding prime greats or strategically waiting for right moment to strike to cherrypick them after they'd either been brutally sparked out cold, had the stuffing beaten out of them, or after handicapping or crippling them at the negotiating table when he did ''dare to be great.''

You can't rig the deck like that in the gym just like you can't cherrypick, avoid certain styles, cripple your opponent at the negotiating table or age them out in the amateurs. Hence why he had like 9 losses. I think he only beat like 3 undefeated opponents or something in 50 fights IIRC so in his own words the blueprint for beating the rest of them was already there.

I believe that Spence beat up Floyd in the gym because you are right in the gym you can't really stack the deck. But Haney has never beat up anybody in his life even on the rare occasion that he has hurt someone he backs off because he is terrified of getting countered. I wouldn't be surprised if he was quicker and tagged 45 year old Floyd with more shots but no way he would even stand and trade with even an old Floyd. Floyd probably just marched forward with a high guard as Haney's power probably felt like a pesky mosquito.

Yeah, Haney couldn't beat his pillow up. But Floyd has always struggled with slickness and when facing someone with a comparable or a longer reach, but to balance that out Haney has literally never fought anyone remotely his size and he couldn't punch a hole in a wet cardboard box if he was wearing an iron glove.
