Most fighters are now doing this probably because the promoters ask them to so they can try and do a show at a football stadium. Has Fabio Wardley always supported Ipswich for example?

I know a lot of fights have gone to the Saudis, but within 2 months in the UK between the 3 top promoters we get Taylor vs Catterall II, Billam-Smith vs Riakporhe at Selhurst Pack, the Matchroom Birmingham show which has several good fights, the Magnificent Seven, Fisher vs Babic (will sell well), and Joyce vs Chisora + McCann vs Baluta II.

Can’t complain too much with that at all. None on PPV as well. In the past Taylor vs Catterall and Joyce vs Chisora would definitely have been on PPV.

I think it's a good fight. Pretty evenly matched, can both dig a bit. Not so sure it's a stadium fight in the classic sense though.....

 

The rumours are that CBS punch resistance is not what it was. The fact this has been put on at Selhurst in Riakporhe's home turf suggests that CBS is selling his belt here a bit.

It should be a great fight, but I do think Riakporhe stops CBS late. Probably around round 10 or 11.

 

Probably because despite fighting for a world championship both aren't elite fighters, just in a weak division and that no one is arsed about at present.

 

I would say they are euro level. Both would be knocked clean out by opetaia in a few rounds

That's all I've paid for them so what's wrong with asking for the tenner? I got them without realising it was at palaces stadium. Sod getting back from there after its done

Gave away 2 tickets for a past event too. Just wondering if any boxing fans wanted to actually go to an event. Not sure how that can be mocked?
