There is a delay as the ref guides Billi Godoy back to his corner for a quick towel wipe across his brow. Heiland is pressing forward and hammering Godoy on the ribs with uppercuts while leaned over in front of him dodging the rabbit-punches descending on him in a steady flow. They both hook with no room to get the shots turned over, and both land resultant forearm-smashes on each others' lip. Heiland rocks Godoy and presses the advantage!

I view it as like the 5th for Heiland: yes, Billi did better in relation to a few preceding rounds, but he still probably lost it. This is still Heiland's fight unless Godoy flips it again.

 

Round 10

Heiland is planting his right foot out past Godoy's left, and pestering him with left hand leads and right jabs on the face, getting up close and roughhousing with lots of elbows and landing short uppercuts on the body. Godoy is flurrying out straight, mostly past Heiland's neck, and holding on the inside while Heiland lights up his torso with bunches of light uppercuts.

One more shift in momentum here in the championship rounds would make this an instant classic.

 

Round 11

Heiland is combining right jabs and left uppercuts, two at a time in bursts, falling into a slouch with his arms raised protectively when not throwing. Godoy is finding his range and timing with the 1-2 again. Heiland gets in a lucky right hook and left cross on the button, not even looking as he fires emerging from his leaning shell. Thumping uppercut by Heiland nearly picking Godoy up off his toes.

Round 12

Godoy is sticking his jab and covering up with a high guard, leaning over a bit, using Heiland's own tactic from the eleventh. Heiland is slamming him with the left hand, slicing out with long uppercuts after using right hooks to pave his way. GODOY IS CAUGHT...AND DOWN! He beats the count but is waved off!!
