Billy and Jeff plotting Greens downfall

    Do you think the knowledge that these 2 have by training Green for as long as they did will have a big effect on the outcome or will it all mean **** come fight night. As they say everyone has a plan until they get hit in the face. I think if Briggs has any chance of winning it will be the knowledge these 2 have to work out the best way to beat him. surely any weakness that green has will be exploited.

    its a really interesting turn on the build up to this fight, but jeffs been separated from danny for quite a while now and i think danny has changed his fight techniques a fair bit in that period of time, and as you say, you can prepare all you want but come fight night, its just danny and paul out there and any previous plans may be thrown out the window

    IMO Jeff and Billy are there to get Brigss fit and nothing more - Paul's enough of a veteran to know what to do, at this stage of his life/career I don't think anyone can teach him anything.

    Besides, Fenech is a great fitness trainer, but not so much a tactician.

    Billy's got a good boxing brain and is a great cornerman - stays calm (unlike Jeff) - but I don't think he can tell Paul much about Green that he wouldn't already know after all the sparring they've done in the past.

    I'm liking this fight as long as Briggs comes in fit and in shape - I think it'll be a barnburner while it lasts :yep

    Oh come on Josey, this is tongue in cheek, right? Green stopped RJJ fair and square and Siaca didn't want to know after Green's first jab landed.

    BTW, Joe C would run rings around Green at any weight.

    I thought that Green and Briggs only sparred 3 times maybe I was wrong. I dont know how much you would learn in that time compared to what Billy and Jeff would know about subtle weaknesses that they worked on with Green. I agree a hell of a lot will do with how Briggs comes in is he going to be 100% however i think that having Billy and jeff helping you must be a big bonus comming into a fight with green

    The only way Fenech can screw around with Green in the lead up to this fight is by training Green himself..... Tyson might make another comeback...
