Billy Bird vs Adam Harper tomorrow for the english jr. middle belt.......good fight!

    I can only recommend this fight for it s Entertainment value. neither of the two is a Puncher and they are stricktly domestic Level.....but are evenly matched and fun to watch.
    especially bird, of whom i have been a fan for 2 reasons: 1) he has the same Name as another billy bird who fought like 500 pro fights in the 1920 to 1940´s.
    2) he never fought Amateur but was an unlicenced boxer (like myself by the way) before turning pro.

    for the hardcore fans, this is one to enjoy!

    last i heard matt McCarthy 18-2, who lost to billy earlier this year in another Thriller, is next for harper. should be another Thriller!!!

    Well done Adam. I have followed his career quite closely as he is a local lad to me. He's hard working and not afraid to travel to opponents backyard. He doesn't have massive punching power but deserves a big fight. I have seen him a few times in small hall shows but now hopefully he gets a big venue fight.

    slow down. the guy just got totally outclassed in a Commonwealth title fight. his win over bird is nice and the fight was great……..but thats where it Ends. he should stick to Fighting guys on this Level, Nothing wrong with it. mccarty will be a great fight.
    but the next Level would be the british title...…..and thats where guys like ted cheeseman wait. and he cant win there. it would not be competative.
