I just came across this great Billy Conn piece from back in the days when Sports Illustrated gave a stuff about boxing. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/article/magazine/MAG1119578/1/index.htm Conn is a likable guy and a true tough nut but his father-in-law sounds even tougher. That said Billy Conns' life looks like a life fantastically well lived and I just wish more articles like this appeared in main stream sports publications. Boxing needs stories like this imo.
