Your opinions please! 15 rounds for the lightheavyweight or heavyweight title.

Fitz has a punchers chance but Conn should win a clear points decision.

Conn fought in an era where the sport had developed more and was more competitive and hence would likely outbox Fitz who had a dated skillset from some of the footage/photos available of him

Conn has a runners chance, of course, but he is not going to be able to try to stand to toe like he tried to against Joe Louis. Against Fitz, i think he stands his ground much earlier and is KOd because of it much earlier.

A good fight, but you cant run forever.

With small gloves it is documented Fitz did serious damage to opponents...he carries one punch power from the reports. I agree with all the above Conn has the skill to handily out box Fitz...But what if Fitz lands? In the article Clay put up Jack Johnson praised Fitz's power over Dempsey's! Conn might not be any harder to figure out than Corbett...just sayin'...

Conn was not an all time great...fringe tag yes. Fiz however was the real deal. Fitzby ko in 4 rounds. Fitz hit like a hammer. One of the few fighter who could ko a man with one punch from either fist.

Maybe if Fitsz lands some of his pin point body shots but i still dont see Conn loosing if Joe couldn't do it until Conn messed up and fought him i don't think Fitsz will unless Conn goes for the knock out.
