Haven't seen Corbett fight, but i suspect that he sucked by modern standards.

    Conn would propably beat him.

Corbett's best weight was about 185-188. I think Corbett wins this one. He's a better out fighter, and hits a bit harder.

Conn defintley takes this one. He was the better outfighter, infighter, and has more polished boxing skills on film. I think conn was defintley the better combination puncher.

Conn was taller than corbett and had a longer reach mendoza

You're only half right. Conn was taller, but Corbett had greater reach. The height and reach are about even here. The diffrence is, Conn lost a few decsions. Corbett in his prime or near prime lost a decision.

niether did conn. Conn was just 16-20 years old and still very young and hadnt full matured when he dropped some decisions to future hall of famers. Conn also picked up very impressive wins during this period.

the only fighter conn lost to in his prime was joe louis, who he outboxed for 13 rounds and nearly knocked out. Corbett wasnt half the fighter joe louis was.

the difference here is conn was the better boxer and better puncher.
