Billy Conn vs Tommy Loughran

I think Billy edges Tommy in a close 15 rounder.

 

This is a really tough call.
I may pick Billy also.Could go either way.

 

I'd take Billy by decision as well. I think Billy would be more aggressive and though he didn't have real ko power he could hurt you with his left. From what I've read Tommy L. had such fragile hands he was always afraid to let loose.:good

 

Pickem fight Conn had a little more pop on his shots,and maybe was faster afoot,Loughran ,the more classical stylist with an imacculate left jab ,but fragile hands,the two master boxers of the LH,s.

 

I wonder why Maxie and Tommy Loughran never fought?
