If Evgeny was a natural at 130 it'd be much more competitive than it is

Whats worth noting about Miura Vs Uchiyama is Miura wasn't even with a well established gym back then, his performance saw Teiken taking an interesting and signing him 6 months later. Prior to then he was with Yokohama Hikari (a good gym but not a top one)

I blame Taka for most the stuff I know. Always happy to share my knowledge on stuff about the Japanese scene.

    Active?
    Shohei Omori
    Ken Shiro
    Sho Nakazawa
Kosei Tanaka (might have heard of him, stand out prospect)
Rikki Naito (fights Arakawa next time out)
    Suguru Muranaka
    Masayoshi Nakatani (fights at 135)
Takuya Kogawa (probably heard of him but he's hard not to like)
Hideo Sakamoto (a bit of a hidden gem)
    Shun Kubo
    Hikaru Marugame
Keita Obara (one of the hardest punchers P4P in the country)

Not sure which of those you've heard of

Thanks! More than half these guys are new to me. Should they all be easy enough to find on YouTube? Time to hit the tape!

For footage I'd head straight to the Asianboxing video section I know they have a fair bit of-
    Omori
Ken Shiro (Full career I think)
    Nakazawa
Tanaka (Full career and some amateur stuff)
    Naito
    Muranaka (Plenty of bouts)
    Nakatani (most notable bouts)
Kogawa (some of his most notable bouts)
    Obara (most of his bouts)

The others seem to be harder to see

I've yet to come across any footage at all of Shun Kubo, was always hoping his fight with Luis May would hit the next but it seems to be a no-no. Taka said he looked and couldn't find it either.

Surely we'll come across some sometime soon but nothing yet
