Okay, whats your stance on shoving fighters who have just been knocked out? Dib was the worst offender out of everyone that night.

First the Haumono fight, now this. What part of not hitting someone when they are down don't some of these fighters understand. Could you imagine the uproar if roles were reversed & Billy was kinghit whilst on the ground. Disgraceful to say the least.

Some of the on-line write-ups of the Dib v Yamaguchi bout seem intent on being 'efficient' with the facts.

Consider for a minute the report below from what I would usually consider a reputable on-line source:

'In a fantastic opening night of ‘SuperBoxer’, the feature event finished with a spectacular 1st Round KO victory by Billy ‘The Kid’ Dib over Kenichi Yamaguchi. With an entertaining, yet unorthodox style, Yamaguchi from Japan, rushed and charged at the ‘The Kid’ and at one point tackled Dib'.

'Dib, the consummate professional, picked his moment and with literally just seconds left in the first round, pounced with a multiple punch combination and finished Yamaguchi brilliantly. The two brave fighters embraced post-bout in the dressing rooms, sharing their thoughts and respect for one another in one what was an entertaining opening to ‘SuperBoxer’...'

Comments: What about the punch Dib delivered when Yamaguchi was down? What about the ruckus in the ring immediately after the bout? What about the fact that Dib clearly shoved Yamaguchi away after the bout?

Am I the only one that sees this report as being a bit 'efficient' with the facts??

as i have said in previous posts i have nothing major against dib and wish him all the best. skill wise i started paying less attention to him after the Marali fight. however as i have also said hitting a man while down is inexcusable. Its hard to fully derive from what he said whether he believes he won fairly or not. Some of you have tried to read between the lines but for me its not certain enough. I will throw respect his way for manning up and offering a rematch so soon after the fight TBH most fighters probably would NOT have done what dib did with the rematch offer.

one thing is guaranteed and that is that yamaguchi will be just as awkward the 2nd time round and that will be frustrating again. This will be dibs camps last straw and if they screw it up I WILL lose respect for the ENTIRE camp.

I was moving on past Dib to the 24th with Zappa but looks like Mr Footit wants a rematch. Lets hope dibby boy behaves himself.

Was only using this as a generic example of what's being written on the Net Phil, not to specifically sh_tcan anyone in particular.

I'll just whisper the answer so nobody but you hears:

I think the point has been lost here. Dib has offered the guy a rematch. whatever you think of him, not many others would do the same and so quickly.

If it means Japan, well I reckon, so be it.

The ball is now in Footit's court so to speak.
