Billy dib has improved alot since last time he went to America. Might surprise a few with his performance. Should handle this opponent pretty comfortably.
He is improved since hooking up with Billy Hussein following the loss to Luevano, but he is very inconsistent. Gradovich also has a high-profile corner man, one who specializes in maximizing the offensive abilities of aggressive fighters...
i'v never beens sold on dib, i don't understand how he managed to hold a belt at 126, there are way more talented fighters at that weight then him, i'v seen his last fight and he looked like **** against some unranked mexican who almost stopped him before dib spat his gum shield out. i don't know who gradovich is but if hes anything decent he'll stop dib.
A fairly simple confluence of events and circumstances: Gamboa vacated the title moving up to super feather against DPDL, leaving a power vacuum. The IBF in their infinite wisdom had Lacierva (with lots of wear and tear but coming off a decent run culminating in a final eliminator) #2 and Dib (even having recently beaten nobody important) #3. Dib ran like the wind from Lacierva throwing pot shots, and was deemed to have thereby done enough to be a world champion. :!: One judge who scored it a near shutout is from Dib's home state of NSW. Baby Face Lacierva himself at that point - in the twilight of a near twenty year career - would've been a paper titlist were he to have inherited Gamboa's throne. Dib has instead been holding it hostage ever since on the basis of his non-engagement with Lacierva.
