Compare to Vasyl Lomachenko who fought at lightweight & Featherweight as an amateur (still considered small)

Gervonta was moved up to look fast, which is cool in the amateurs, but will end with a KO when he faces a solid Natural 130, Vasyl Lomachenko is actually a good cash out fight, but Floyd doesn't know what to do with his pet...

Gervonta as a Pro is just average at Bantam, Inoue will give him the fight of his life...

 

Looking forward to Loma schooling him.

 

Kind of the classic disappointing to-be-expected fight of a young boxer who is on the map, also one who is likely to be coddled into a reign or sustained success as opposed to cashing into the biggest check every fight out after his initial success.

You guys think Davis is better than Gradovich right now? I mean he will be in a year or two, but right now, I don't know.

It's a good fight. Dib is a good boxer and he has forgotten more about the art than Davis knows. Ultimately I think Davis wears him down, but he's only a prospect who was lucky to win a wattered down title.

Here is Lomachenko at 18 years old fully hydrated and 112 pounds.

Davis is undoubtedly the naturally larger guy, he struggles to make 130 while Lomachenko could easily make 126.
