If i was ever going to fix a fight, i would take a dive off of a bodyshot. Easier to fake.

Something people forget is that boxing events are expensive as **** to put on and there is not a lot of money to get a decent opponent.
There is a long history of managers taking big losses on their prospects before they make some money back. (big losses being the opponents purses, buying their way onto decent cards.)

 

Tim the Toolman's recent opposition has been pretty good.

That guy wasn't though.

In fairness, he wasn't the original opponent.

Tszyu was supposed to be fighting for the Australian title tonight but the national 154 lb champ, Sam Colomban, is out of action with a bung shoulder.

The national middleweight champ, Dave Toussaint, is also out injured but I don't think they will put Junior Tszyu in with him.
