billy fox vs lamotta question.....

    was this fight filmed? anyone on here see the fight in person if so enlighten us as to what happened.

    Shommel, I did not see the Lamotta/Fox fight in person, but I saw the fight on Nov.14,1947 in a crowded bar on a 10" screen...A day before the fight the odds mysteriously dropped in favor of Bill Fox...Something was in the air...Billy Fox kod THIRTY SIX opponents before the bout with Lamotta.. He was considered the new smaller Joe Louis...But the rest is history...The myth of Billy Fox was shattered by tough Gus Lesnevich who flattened Billy Fox twice...b.b.
