    I also loved reading about Burt seeing Graham live in his younger days. Imagine!

    Hello Chuck Johnston I have been searching for a particular boxing magazine article unfortunately I don’t have a wealth of information just that it was about Billy Graham’s controversial loss versus Kid Gavilan and featured Irving Cohen. By any chance are you familiar with it? Specifically I’m looking for a picture of Irving Cohen protesting in the ring following the fight.

    I'm not familiar with graham at all, but from what I've seen of him he just looks so put together. Im an absolute sucker for a good jab, and my Lord could billy jab by the looks of it, in his fight with giardello it was like the man just had a ****ing pool cue for a left.

    yes, he is a hidden gem from that time.. He suffers from the fact that there were so many HOF welterweights around the same time.
