Thats what I've been saying, Hatton had one way of fighting in order to beat Mayweather. He tried to execute it, did it reasonably well but Mayweather was just too good. Its like Graham is getting stick because Hatton couldn't go to a "Plan B" that involved him boxing Mayweathers ears off from distance....

 

i agree. i like billy graham. he is a top trainer and talked a lot of sense when he used to be a panalyst on sky sports. i think ricky has beat himself with all the yo yoing with weight that he has done

The hatton of 23 years ago was a different animal to the man of the mayweather fight. he had more variation in his attack and was defensively sound. the weight loss has took the strength and zap out of him

i mean macca career is a perfect example just a bit ago he was to face i think ezra sellers...sellers i think hurt his arm or soming and frnak had to choose an opponant out of the top 10:think who could he choose who could he choose.

then i remember rob calloway almost 40 year old prize fighter who hasnt got a notable win for many a year. was pleading for a shot he was in the wbo top 15 and was making great reading on boxrec forums about how much he wanted to face enzo...he started with the usual i'll fight him stance..then after that didnt work he tried the oh macca is scared manuva...then just said please pretty please.

fought terrible ops but has a winnign ace in modern day boxing...no losses. you can win robberies for your whole 40 fight career ofcourse an inferior fighter and what not but you are still unbeaten.

then the interviewer said bluntly "does that mean you would pay 12 million on a ******" and fwanks response was "ummmm":roll:
