How are you all? This is John Evans from Billy Graham's Boxing Podcast. For any American fight fans, Billy trained many champions and took Ricky Hatton to the top of the boxing world and was a massive hit on the HBO 24/7 series building up to Mayweather v Hatton. Since the monthly column we wrote in Boxing Monthly ended, we've been planning a podcast and managed to get the first episode out this week. So far, it has been well received. It's as straight talking as you would imagine and I hope we manage to make it entertaining. This is just a quick message to invite you all to get involved with the show. Billy wants the podcast to be led by boxing fans and will happily discuss the topics you want and answer any questions you may have. The first episode is available now via all your usual outlets and we talk Joshua and Fury, meet Billy's new pet and relive the night Michael Gomez and Alex Arthur went to war. I won't post a direct link or the shows email address as I'm not fully aware of form rules and don't want to get banned straight away but we'd love boxing fans to get involved.
If you try to get it on YouTube as well, it would definitely help exposure. I use YouTube for most podcasts I listen to, but I'll give it a cheeky listen on Spotify.
Just finished listening. Good podcast, felt proper natural and had some fun stories. Will be listening on the next one.
Episode 2 is available now on all your usual platforms! Thank you for your support. We have all 5 star reviews so far. I'm Episode 2 Billy talks about the brutality of boxing behind closed doors, the day Ricky Hatton first walked through his door and he answers your questions. Thanks again. We hope you enjoy it.
Episode 3 of Billy Graham's Boxing Podcast is available now. We wonder why the top lightweights aren't taking aim at Lomachenko. We relive the two violent fights between Carl Thompson and Chris Eubank and remember the day Paul Sykes turned up looking for sparring.
Jesus, defo want to listen to this. I'll sit down tonight and go through them after work. Cheers mate
