Kidney shots have been banned in boxing since 1867 as the Kidney is one of the most exposed vital organs in the body and is not protected by any bone, thus making it easy to damage with the force of a punch. A punch to the Kidney can kill you in otherwords.

Here is a video of Billy Hussein telling a reporter that he told Billy Dib to Target the Kidney area of Eduardo Escobedo

    Good thinking

As long as you walk away with the money, that's all that matters

Ty why are you obsessed with continuing this crusade?
Dib won impressively and proved you wrong. Sure their is
still some things to work on controlling his emotions so he doesn't foul as much but whether you,me or anyone else likes it or not he proved us all wrong in the manner he beat Escobedo.

You've got some real self-hating issues, Ty.

You've admitted to telling an amateur kid you trained to kick his opponent. Bit hypocritical of you now to be pointing the finger at another trainer don't you think?:nono

And isn't it a bit hypocritical to be accusing somebody else of being a criminal for a slight push when you admitted to have assaulted several people yourself?:nono:nono

Deep down you must despise yourself as much as those you're pointing the finger at. Stop raiding your mother's closet and go get some professional help.

I havent watched this fight yet.
What do you think? Did Dibbs actually kidney punch the mexican repeatedly ? Was he warned by the ref ? Did the ref ignore it ? Was it the reason the other bloke folded?
If he has won by the illegal kidney punches, then this interview that Ty has put up, is important to consider.... Hussien is saying that he advised Dibbs to hit his opponent to the kidneys...it is almost enough to get a turn around in the decision, or a post match disqualification if Dibbs did win by kidney punches. It would be a great legal case, if some legal eagle could be bothered enough to pursue it.....problem is, Aussies (well most) dont give a **** that our boxers do punch to the kidneys, or do hit to the back of the head, or do hit people in the balls. etc. etc.
You can't break the rules. Not even if you do run the show.

The last thing I want to do is defend TC, but I can't agree with you Stiffy.

Dib very likely had the potential to beat Escobedo in a good manner, but IMO he didn't.

He controlled the fight with his foul play, and won the fight by default IMO.
The Mexican couldn't handle any more low blows, elbows and kidney punches.

As for controlling his emotions, I doubt that will ever happen. Dib will always be a dirty fighter when he's under pressure.
Think about how many times this has happened, he'll never change.

I don't doubt my opinion means much to anyone, though you did ask.

I'm also sure he and his bank manager don't care.

What interests me though is a small band of people here (yourself included) who claim to be boxing fans, condone this kind of fight.

I gather you think it's ok to load your gloves to?
How about a few knees to the balls?
    What about a baseball bat?

I mean really, if you can sneak it in, why not beat the system eh. :patsch

Rules are there for the protection of the fighters first and foremost.
Breaking those rules doesn't only give you an unfair advantage, it puts the opponent in danger.

The attitude you have is akin to the drunk drongo at the pub screaming 'smash the ****', not something I'd expect from a boxing enthusiast.
