First of all I didn't ask who Canelo fought that was better than Mayweather. I asked why people believe Canelo is so much better now than when he fought Mayweather. Comparing the pre Mayweather opponents to post Mayweather opponents, there really isn't a big difference in skill. Another false narrative is, Canelo being green. 8 year pro, 42 fights green? OK. You only have to watch that Mayweather fight to see canelo was still on a learning curve. You can't seriously tell me you think that he was the same fighter then as he is now. Yh canelo gets bashed on here loads but as an all round fighter he is pretty versatile
