Billy Joe Saunders - best UK prospect

Have you seen him fight? He is a good fighter but he can not handle being hit. He did great against O Sullivan, but when O sully hit him,BJS backed off and could not fight very well on the back foot. Lucky for BJS O sully was not very busy at all and that only happened about 3 or 4 times in the fight. When he fights someone with a good work rate that can punch he will look much less effective. He should beat Ryder but when he leaves domestic level he will have trouble. I am not hating on him just tell it like it is.

 

Come on for crying out loud. "UK" and "prospect" are contradictory!:shock:

 

Always liked him. I think he could do well.

 

Probably has a Chin like Harrison, Price, Fury, Hatton, Macaroni, Khan, etc.

He isn't going anywhere.

 

macc and hatton were world champs as was king curry ( somehow) so if he becomes world champ he's been successful :good
Fury has never been stopped so it's a bit premature to be mentioning his name, plus Hatton had a good chin most of his career just at the end it got dented.
saunders has never ever been down either pro or amateur so his chin looks to be like the likes ofFroch, Burns, Murray , etc

why you mad that the UK are running the middleweight division whilst the USA can't produce good middleweight to save their life

has Saunders fights been shown in the USA

 

He lacks power at euro level and I think he doesn't have the movement and or stamina to compensate for that.

 

BJ might be one of the best UK prospects but that does not mean he can continue to win at world class level. If he ever makes it out of UK,we will see.

 

Saunders is a decent prospect but right now I don't see anything too special in him. He has good potential but not a superstar kind of potential.

And Everyone struggles sometimes but his fight against Blackwell left many questionmarks for me. 2-3 years and we will se what he is made of.

But I like his attitude: He is little c ocky and isn't scared to use his abilities. Kid knows how to fight.

 

WHY am I a hater? Cuz I say he is not as good as some people think? He is a good Prospect that will have trouble at top level. There are a lot of guys that fit in that category, without those guys BOXING WOULD SUCK!

 

He's a good prospect for sure, but I'm not entirely convinced he gets by Ryder just yet. That fight should tell us a lot about his durability and conditioning.

 

not one of those fighters are worth a crap. Sorry. They are UK Domestic level which is below Euro Level. The US only ruled the division for 30 plus years straight That isn't any good? :rofl

saunders and ryder - top prospects will get to world level
others are european level

the UK runs middleweight
