Totally agree. Smith should in realty never have been there in the first place.
It was courtesy of an unbelievable easy route in the WBSS, 2 wins over obscurities then the damaged remains of George Groves.
Then along came his second lottery win in the Alvarez showcase, where he showed zero ambition.

I do think Smith wasted his opportunity.

He was much bigger, and could have at least had a go...nothing ventured all that.

Instead...I don't know, he just seemed completely shell shocked or something, like he was out of his depth and didn't know what to do.

At least, that's how I remember it...must say it bored me to tears on the whole.

I suspect he'll never get another chance like that again (i.e the level of opponent, size of the crowd and tv numbers, money he made etc...).

But Olu, Many of the things BJS was saying were the same as the opinions of the majority of boxing fans
Canelo cheated by using PED's ie clenbuterol a banned substance . He was caught red handed Even the NSAC "punished" him they allegedy banned him for 6 months so he could have his needed knee surgery done
Then the notorious NSAC upped the amount of clenbuterol needed to pop dirty which allows him to carry on eating that tainted meat regardless lol
Add this to the ludicrous scorecards he receives in Vegas & BJS was right on the money lol

BJS is a professional hypocrite and scum bag. He has no business saying anything about Canelo’s Clenbuterol issue after he was found to have performance enhancing drug Oxilofrine in his system by VADA before his fight with Demetrius “Boo Boo” Andrade. Don’t forget he was banned as well. Further research showed that a lot of meat in Mexico is contaminated with Clenbuterol. We told you and others the scorecards won’t be needed because Canelo would break him down and the fight won’t go the distance.

BUT Olu, You keep avoiding the most obvious reason why Ginger, popping dirty for Clenbuterol is the very fact the Reynosos whole family are BUTCHERS!!!! That know the tainted meat problem well. Not a very good team if they didnt watch what meat Ginger eats are they?? That excuse is ludicrous He cheated , & he was caught, if he was a man he'd stand up & admit he cheated. Ive watched the fight now & at the time the loaded glove landed the fight was still up for grabs. Of course the judges didnt agree with that they had Canelo ahead as usual

I notice your objectivity on display not saying anything about BJS use of performance enhancing drugs. The Reynoso’s to my knowledge Butchers they may be are not responsible for all cattle in Mexico. Canelo suffered a ban. He had knee surgery so what. Fighters heal their injuries in their downtime.
