Expo is causing the issues. Once they have the money, venue, and date cleared, the fight will be signed. GGG can't sign with Saunders until all of the above are met, otherwise the fight might happen in UK...

Exactly... GGG put all his belts on the line with no rematch clause... do you think Jacob's would give GGG a rematch if he had all the belts from a win? I doubt it personally

For what it's worth, it was Jacobs' team who pushed for the no-rematch clause.

Saunders refused to fight Golovkin before............................El Pollo wants the Saunder's title, so they are doing what they can to keep Golovkin from winning it from Saunder ASAP! Golovkin will knock Saunders out if they fight, he would then have all 4 titles, Oscar does not want that to happen. Boxing is crooked and full of lies.............

The thing is that the only reason BJS can be offered a huge purse is that the Kazakh govt and sponsors are supposed to fund the fight. Otherwise both mens' purses would be much lower.

Kiwiman the Kazakh money should have zero bearing on the contract being written up and signed,
That can come later and be written in to the contract.

Khan and Pacman agreed to terms and signed, I don't see a reason LLL can't

A signed contract with unspecified details to be added in later. I can see that working especially in such a stand up sport as boxing. :smash2:

Not what I meant I said the contract can be written as conditional under the assumption of the money being brought to the table by the expo/sponsors

That's too factual for this thread mate - need to add some histrionics, an outburst or two and some flat out lies to satisfy some.

How anyone takes BJS seriously these days is beyond me. The guy barely fights and when he does he struggles against Hugh Jackman lookalikes. He's had ample opportunity to make serious noise and totally bottled out of taking legit challenges.

I had high hopes that he might do something when he beat Lee but all he wants to do is give it large on Twitter. He and his promoter are a joke these days.

So not worth the piece of paper it is written on yet still charged the same legal fees as a binding contract. That's the reality of your argument.
