Billy joe Saunders fails drugs test

I can’t see the Boston commission allowing this to go ahead. Discrepancy or not, Billy has taken something outside of the rules.

We know Saunders isn’t a damaging puncher, but if Andrade was to end up getting hurt the Boston people would be wide open to be sued.

I think Eddie might be secretly be not to unhappy to avoid Billy anyway. On paper, Andrade should have a fairly straight forward fight to get the belt and then Eddie can then do a in-house unification with Jacobs.

 

Bet Frank is wishing he'd not taken that Matchroom offer now. If Andrade was on his way to London for the mandatory none of this would be an issue. Instead there's different jurisdictions, a different testing agency with different rules and no doubt a load of predatory lawyers behind the scenes trying to make a case for breach of contract.

 

Am I missing something? Has he not basically been cleared caus it wasn't in the day of the fight? Clearly dodgy but technically he's not done anything wrong?

 

I'm led to believe He was cleared by the BBBOC and VADA, however that is irrevalent as the fight is being sanctioned by Massachussettes board of control. If they refuse to license Billy Joe I'd assume the WBO would then strip him of the title. I could be wrong but that's the jist I got.

 

No question Eddie will be pushing for BJS to be stripped. It means he won't have to give a Warren fighter a big payday, and Warren will have one less world champion. Eddie will get his guy to fight for a vacant title, then he's got Jacobs v Andrade for the WBO. Good business.

 

I doubt it. It ruins a big DAZN card for him.

 

Well he still gets a title fight, just an easier one against the next in line on the WBO rankings. Or at least that's what he was saying in the interview I saw quoted here earlier.

 

Strip the obnoxious twat and retire him so he doesn’t continue to be a bell end for the travelling community....he’s an embarrassment to them to be honest and most boxing fans feel the same.

 

A DAZN fight his guy was likely to lose. Now he'll still get a title fight + another world champion who could go on to fight GGG or Canelo.

 

Billy Joe Saunders v Andrade does better numbers than a nobody. Then it leads on to an even bigger fight with Jacobs for him. Which BJS was receptive to when first mooted.

 

Jacobs would defo beat the twat anyway so all irrelevant so strip the bully now!

 

Surely the best middleweight fight out there for Eddie is Andrade v Jacobs? Unlikely to happen if BJS keeps his belt. BJS being stripped is good for Eddie. No doubt about it. He still delivers a (vacant) world title fight for Andrade on DAZN. Then he gets Andrade v Jacobs for the WBO strap. Perfect scenario!

 

Not VADA mate, VADA testing was insisted on by Andrades team . They are generally viewed as the best for testing in terms of catching cheats and having stricter guidlines.

BBBC have said he has done nothing wrong there testing is done by UKAD which allow you to take the substance up until 12 hours before the fight. So he won't lose his British licence to fight.

But Saunders only saving grace is now Andrade and his team well Victor Conte who says he was the one responsible for insisting on having VADA testing for this fight and he even sponsored it to pay for the fees which is around 30-50 thousand, are now saying we will go ahead with the fight but Andrade will have to be some way compensated.

very strange considering Conteh also sad this particular substance is very beneficial are one of the strongest for enhancing your performance and reckons Saunders probably been using very high doses off it, so he paid all this money to have this testing the opponent fails the test but he says they still want to fight ??

I wonder if the promoters and Andrade team have any input with the decision the commission take on the 8th October because it they do and what there saying in the videos is the truth maybe the fight will go ahead.

 

They are all on it ....why wouldnt you be?
