Bill Joe Saunders is the real deal. You see all these great Gypsy talents coming up the rankings now.

Saunders is a hard guy to beat. Eubank can take him out if he's able to keep cutting him off.

Eubanks is a few levels below Saunders, saunders is getting close to world level

Eubank is still fighting fairly poor journeymen his not even at british level yet,

Dont forget he hasnt been a pro that long.

Billy Joe Saunders at the same point, time scale in his career had faced only 9 opponents with a whopping combined 139 losses.

Eubank has faced 15 opponents with only 118 losses but Eubank is the one who takes criticism for the level of his opponent. Its a compliment.

BJS should go back to dog fighting. If he wants to behave like a pikey he can go back to one of the many camps and do so, that's why they exist on the fringe of civilized England.

Both guys seem confident they can win, I hope the fight happens at some point.

If the fight were to happen today I would favour BJS to out-hustle him and win a decision. If the fight happens in a years time, I'm not sure who i would favour.

Exactly, Saunders was a world class amateur who has beaten Fletcher, Blackwell, O'Sullivan, Ryder and other good wins in 18 fights, and Eubank Jr has "been brought along slowly because he didn't have many amateur fights".

Mismatch, Billy Joe is right in everything he says

^^ As impressive as anything Eubank Jr has done in his entire 15 fight career, and that was an exhibition for BJS

Billy Joe has by far the better record, better skills, better intangibles, better everything

I love domestic rivalries, especially when one fighter is willing to talk **** about the other like Saunders. Could be an excellent fight should it happen.

Prior to Eubank Jr's last fight I would have confidently picked Saunders to win, now I'm not so sure. Eubank showed a vastly improved defence, he's much more elusive, has a decent shoulder roll defence and good upper body movement. He's still has plenty of room for improvement, needs to counter more and straighten the right hand.

Saunders is a decent fighter, OK power, fast hands and feet. His punches are better technically then Eubank Jr's, straighter, not telegraphed as much. He's an in and out fighter but not really slick. If Eubank can get in close he'll make it competitive.

Saunders would have to be the clear favourite though, having fought at a higher level and the speed could be the difference despite Eubank Jr's superior defensive ability.
