But degale has improved more than groves since their fight, and I think the OP has a point. However Eubank also gave that fight away too.
Not necessarily. Both have looked good in most of their fights since then but Groves has been fighting better opposition. Which is?
It's just that, his two KO's count against him. Regardless of how well he was doing in those fights. Degale has looked more impressive. I also believe he is more hungry for the chance to shine. That Saunders is good but he may just fall short on the world scene like GG has so far, and Eubank jnr will possibly surpass him, just like I think Degale will surpass GG. But you never know.
This was a good fight they both deserve credit however I think Eubank wins in a rematch he barely did anything in the first 5 rounds and still got a split loss
That's only because the judges were crooked. Don't deserve any rematch at all. He would be a laughingstock if it wasn't for the name. He won 2 rounds if you give him all the close ones. Total schooling.
Well it's easier to look more impressive against inferior opposition. Groves was fighting against the no.2 guy in the division whereas DeGale was fighting against... Well anything may happen but it also might not. DeGale hasn't surpassed Groves yet and Eubank Jr may never surpass Saunders. As you say you never know but for now it's just guesses.
