And how is he supposed to do that if he can't KO him? He can win all 12 rounds and still lose.

I love Gypsies and respect them so I won’t respond to your statement which I find disrespectful and discriminatory against my Gypsy brethren who have suffered discrimination like we have.

The point is that he should not have to subscribe to this doctrine. The point you are making is inherently corrupt and you don't seem to see that.

Alvarez has two possible roads to victory: KO and points.

Saunders has one possible road to victory: KO.

And when you take into account that Saunders is not so much a KO merchant as he is boxer, then this becomes an almost untenable position from which to go into the bout. The last thing Saunders needs to have on his mind is the desperate pursuit of a KO.

You do not going in there believing you cannot KO a guy. Anybody is capable of losing or being KOd. Saunders is displaying a loser’s mentality.

He sounds like he is already mentally beaten, and so post fight, can at least convince himself that he gave it the old college try and got paid.

If you're going to the U.S to fight Canelo on Cinco de Mayo weekend, you have to know what to expect, and be prepared to give everything to counteract that.

I am not saying he has to KO Canelo his job is just is to go in there to win conclusively. The fact he is making excuses and feeling hard done before the fight indicates a lack of belief. Who cares whether there is a British judge or referee chances are a British judge will give the benefit of doubt to the non British fighter. Saunders is pissed off because he knows Eddie does not believe in him and is all in on Canelo. Frankly you can’t blame Eddie for this.

He is not going to win all 12 rounds nor is the fight going the distance. Canelo is going to brutalise him. Word!

Probably because he got his way

Or at the very least the contractual terms were adhered to

You can not possibly defend Canelos team now going back on an agreement, well not with any credibility

Of course he will lost this fight.
Canelo had booked Kovalev only when was sure that he is enough old and shot to beat him. If Yarde almost KOed then might be booked to fight with and in Nevada.

Most amazing judges cards Clenelo had get are these cards in Nevada.

    Buterelo is famous Nevada champ.
Even with Floyd Jr one judge had scored this as a draw.

If you aren't Floyd Jr you should KO him to win and this will not happen cos Clenelo cherry picks.
Most notable cherry pick and laugable commenting expamle was when he picked Khan, welterweight to beat up.
Damn, how bothered these comments, laughable fanbase and commentators.

LOL at Canelo and all this cherry picker's belts and his fans. LOL.

    LOL.

I did not think Khan won all of the early rounds. I didn't have a problem with the judges scores, but as you know many on here complained about their scores and thought that Khan was clearly ahead after 5 rounds. The judges obviously disagreed on some of those rounds, in fairness several of them were close.

But that's not the way that most of this forum saw those rounds. Many saw those as clear Khan rounds and that fact that Khan wasn't ahead on all 3 judges cards in many people's minds is another example of corrupt favorable judging for Canelo. Of course I find that a stretch, but that seemed to be the consensus on this forum at least, that Khan clearly won most or all of those early rounds.

But even if you gave some of the early rounds to Canelo, certainly we could agree that Khan was having success. And I'm just making the point that Saunders could have the same kind of success Khan had, and could win rounds simiilar to how Khan did.

The problem is some on this forum have an irrational hatred of certain fighters like Canelo. Those who understand how fights are scored know that Khan was not winning the fight. In fact if anything Canelo was setting Khan up for the knockout. Running away does not mean you are winning. It’s a boxing match not an athletics or running championship. You use the term “Saunders could have had the same same kind of success Khan had....” . This is my point we have not even had the fight yet and Saunders and his supporters are making BS excuses. If my Auntie had a **** she would be my Uncle but she does not so she is my Auntie.

I know you're worried about the judges, and understandably so. But I think you have to recognize that you see a lot of matches different than the official judges, not just in Canelo matches. Case in point, your scorecard for Liam Williams vs Andrade, your scorecard for Saunders vs Coceres. You had Saunders winning almost every round if I recall, the judges had it a split decision 96-94, 96-94, 94-96.

So when you say he could win all 12 rounds and still lose, lets remember Saunders Coceres, you thought Saunders won pretty much every round there if I'm not mistaken, and well he almost still lost didn't he. No one else besides you thought Saunders won that many rounds. So we could get to the end of a 12 round close encounter between Canelo and Saunders, I'd expect you to have Saunders winning almost every round like you did with Coceres. But the judges would have it close, maybe a split decision or something.

That scenario wouldn't really be any different than Saunders Coceres now would it. It's just that you rate Saunders differently than most and give him close rounds. You claiming Saunders could win all 12 rounds and still lose, that's him winning all 12 rounds in your mind, when most, even Canelo haters, would have given a lot of those rounds to Canelo. So, in conclusion, I fully expect a close encounter here, I think this is headed for a controversial 12 round decision. Which in my mind, is exactly what boxing needs.

Trust me Saunders does not make it to the end or he is severely brutalised like Callum Smith. I may come from a different school of boxing than Eddy and Chepo Reynoso but I respect them. They don’t **** around.
