When was he supposed to fight Murray?

He is dumber than he looks if he did cancel that fight hoping for a GGG or Canelo fight.

In the past few months their teams have both stated they aren't interested in the fight. They are just using his name in the negotiation process.

Canelo GGG is still the obvious favourite fight to be signed. Canelo could have still fought Spike which would have been an acceptable fun fight that was relatively low risk (similar to a Kirkland fight just marginally tougher IMO). GGG could not risk the pay day and would have never fought any of these tough Mando's or Saunders. GGG stock would have hit rock bottom. He couldn't fight a Spike because he would have been ridiculed for dropping his belts. He probably will still lose IBF now anyway ducking Derevyanchenko.

What is Canelo's best non controversial win? Ancient Cotto? Kirkland?

We can't accuse GGG of taking the tougher fight if he does fight Canelo again. That is just an easyish big money fight, the no brainer for a greedy bloke like GGG.

A win against Canelo is destined to devalue in the future. I see him taking a hell of a beating in the near future. Too small for 160 and too lazy for 154. Ffs he should be able to make 147 given his frame!!!! Barely bigger than Kell Brook.

Rumours starting to appear about a BJS fight in August on FB/twitter, not seeing anything verifiable though and how the hell could he explain away an "injury".

 

Well it will be BJS Vs Golovkin, Canelo isn't fighting BJS.

Personally I want Canelo to fight Golovkin, I want the rematch, if Canelo is tested regularly, clean and they examine those wraps pre fight then It's going to look like Margarito Vs Mosley when they took Margaritos loaded gloves away.

Canelo will get served up.
