Hahah sure! Nick Blackwell barely made it through Nathan King. And if you want to base Eubanks talent against a sparring match........... why not base it on the sparring he gave Carl Froch?

Personally dont base too mcuh on sparring yet this whole hype job on eubank jr is all based on sparring not fights he has struggled in earlier in career lol

as for sparring session everyone was raving about with froch, technically froch aint the best would expect bjs to do even better sparring froch but also fraoch was probably rotating sparring parteners and apparently was early in froch camp

    :huh

Go back a couple of posts and read the one you put together about Blackwell sparring Eubank, and how Blackwell doesn't strike you as being a liar.......

Also bear in mind that "earlier in his career"was ....like.....last year! Ffs. How much better can he be today?

As for the "he sparred Froch" nonsense...! ANYONE could look good against Froch for a round or two, with big gloves and headgear, Froch is so poor technically. Plus Froch may not have been in shape, or at the end of a long days training etc etc but in a long REAL fight, small gloves, no headgear, obviously Carl is a very different proposition).

Bottom line I respect Nick Blackwells opinion. (Today's Nick Blackwell just might actually beat either of these two IMO).

Well considering he had no Am background and the sheer number of camps he's had in 12 months I would say he's come on leaps and bounds. Considering most folk are siding with EBJ for the win. I will ignore the 'Anyone can look good against Froch' garbage.

For me If BJS keeps it long stay away from ropes for beginning of fight easy win for him. Eubank will walk on to one BJS KO very early in fight

A poster asked a question I answered it then stated i dont believe blackwell is a liar.

What im saying is personally i myself dont base too much on sparring,iv been in many gyms and seen average fighters look great against world class fighters only to freeze against journeymen come fight night.Same with footballers iv talked to who will say so and so looks immense in training and on matchday they go missing. But there is no doubt with eubank jr all the hype is from sparring otherwise your going on him looking great against doormen.Tell me did you learn anything from his last fight? as i sure as hell did not!

And the anyone can look good against froch in sparring i would stand by with big ounce gloves and him not being technically great i think its fair comment.Sorry for having an opinion though different to your own lol

Agreed. I'm leaning towards a BJS victory in a super tight points decision. I see BJS totally dominating the first six rounds while Euabnk jr will come on strong down the stretch with uppercuts and wild home-run hooks. I think inexperience will cost eubank jr here as I can see him giving up too many of the early rounds to a quality operator in BjS. Different result in a rematch 18 months down the line. Cheers.

do you think eubanks will listen to the corner? i think ronnie davies may play a role if he can get his word in.
