Cazares is the type of journeyman who doesn't get stopped and makes things difficult even he doesn't win rounds. Butler did just about as well as could be expected, given that. I don't think he really beats any of the titleholders at 118, but I wouldn't use this fight as an indicator of how he'd fare at a higher level.

 

Beats Haskins for me, remember butler being mandatory at super fly for Haskins British and Haskins vacated, besides that I still think butler beats him on points as both can't bang, but McDonnell has to many physical advantages, butler is a small bantem.

So essentially what you are saying then is BJS needs 8 years to build himself up to Golovkin? Start with the baby version, try out Khytrov in 3, build up to Abraham in 5 and fight Golovkin when the caravan needs renovating & the Kazakh is making less sense than Shane Mosley is now. About when he's 43..

 

Fight is a overstatement for this.
