Round 10

Saunders is luring Pryce along and shifting his back against the ropes, turning to either side as Pryce falls in on him with slow predictable uppercuts that he can easily scout and block. Saunders circles out and lands at will, but is getting away from his jab now. Lead lefts doing the job. Not thrown very hard, just scoring. Jabs behind the lead lefts now. Saunders is pecking away with his back against the ropes, trying to draw Pryce forward to get some chances to counter. Pryce isn't obliging him, just throwing one overhand at a time falling in and backing out again.

Nothing against Billy Joe or what he's done here (or to Pryce's heart or past accomplishments), but the Jackal's work last weekend was crisper and came against a currently gamer opponent.

 

Round 11

Saunders jabs out of his guard, then steps back. Pryce is taking long slow steps out with his lead leg, widening his stance and lunging with jabs. Pryce bows his head and sweeps low hooking with both hands. No matter what he does, Saunders is moving effortlessly around him as though on rollerblades and landing scores of right jabs. Pryce walks into a straight flurry after the ref examines his swelling. Could be stopped any moment. Saunders lands a hard jab. Pryce's face is in rough shape. More jabs dice it up.
