Round 1

Buglioni is aggressive, throwing hard straight combos but unable to get a clean bead on Miekle. Good overhand right by Miekle, who leers at Buglioni while circling quickly on the outside, playing keepaway. More activity by Buglioni, but not landing an awful lot. Miekle impressed with his own elusiveness.

Round 2

Buglioni cuts the distance a bit better and stuffs some jabs in Miekle's face. Buglioni is able to force Miekle to exchange with him, and Buglioni's shots are straighter and heavier. Some glancing jabs to the forehead by Buglioni while driving Miekle back, but still his opponent just grins at him like a jack-o-lantern.

20-18 Buglioni

 

Round 3

Buglioni is marching forward, still aggressive, letting his hands go and twisting himself into a ball when Miekle counters. Hard right hands by Buglioni, and he's able to cut Miekle with one. Buglioni spends the rest of the round targeting the cut.

30-27 Buglioni

 

Round 4

Miekle is switching southpaw, back to righty, back and forth. The whole time Buglioni is coming forward and hammering away with right hands, as Miekle uses evasive maneuvers and lands jabs with either hand. Buglioni catches him with a high left jab, setting up a combination to either side of the head that whips Miekle's neck loose. Miekle just grins at him, and keeps circling and landing right or left jabs.
