Buglioni starts to pump hard lefts and rights at Miekle. The commentators think we're close to a British Stoppage, but Miekle is perfectly comfortable leaning back against the ropes and casting a laugh in their direction and nodding to the crowd. Miekle is sitting back against the ropes and letting Buglioni tee off as much as he pleases. A few sloppy counters over the top by Miekle, hugging Buglioni and shoving him back a bit. Miekle circles out to the left and holds his left arm out long to hold Buglioni off. Left hooks reaching to the body by Buglioni. Miekle backs up and paws out with his left, doing a little jig as he scurries. Wild overhands by Buglioni, getting grabbed. Wild can-opener right by Buglioni, missing as Miekle falls back against the ropes.

Round 6

Meikle is running around, holding his arms out as a net. Buglioni comes bashing in, mostly hitting arms but catching the bald dome of Meikle here and there...to no avail. Between the negative tactics and a seemingly solid chin, Meikle should prove a tough nut to crack. It's looking more and more doubtful Buglioni will get a stoppage here, as he gets wilder and wilder. Yeah, Meikle makes it.
