I think peoples personal preference gets in the way a bit with Eubank Jr, which probably suits Eubank Jr pretty well... If he does progress the name of the game is 'make sure people have a strong opinion on you, either way'. Why? Ticket sales.

Anyway... I think Eubank Jrs power is probably under-rated, though I'd concede he's not truly 'shown' it so far. If he went out looking for knockouts, rather than gathering experience and getting some rounds, I think he'd begin to find them. He'll also grow in power naturally. I also think it's a bit fashionable at the early stage of some fighters careers for everyone to agree a fighter is 'european level' or 'domestic' level and no more. Froch had some of that until more recently than some may like to remember. Eubank has a good training team including a father who has got him access to top trainers while in the states and quality sparring.

BJS looked ok against Blackwell last weekend but didn't have the power to deter him at all - even though Blackwell looked like he has a great chin. I think Eubank probably has a decent chin also, and for me I'd bet on BJS on points in a fight in the next six months. Any further out than 6 months? I think I'd favour Eubank Jr who I think will improve rapidly in 2013.

I just want to clarify that in 6, 12, 24, 48 months, the unrelenting beating of Ewbank will be the same.

At the moment Saunders wins it.Its not a fight that is likely to happen soon. Eubank still has a lot of learning to do.

Eubank wins in a similar fight to that of DeGale-Groves.

Eubank will never lose a fight, he has trained with Roger Mayweather, and done it the hard way, his dad was correct. And in another couple of years I can see him realizing what the next step to greatness is, which is over in the US permanently, and with a world level trainer. Virgil Hunter/Roger Mayweather are ideal partnerships.

He is very special, of course he will be doubted, that happens with every young fighter, but when he makes that step, and IMO its crucial, he will become an elite fighter. He has the correct mentality and grounding as a child, and his dad has told him no wrong to this point.

Learn from other fighters mistakes. James DeGale for instance, all the talent in the world, but a pea for a brain. The key to a great fighter is that you have both ingredients in the cake, along with an added special ingredient.

Take nothing away from Bill, he seems like a good fighter and a great lad of camera, and if he was to beat Eubank, I'd be pleased for him also. But IMO, Eubank is on another level and just has the edge mentally, because of all the preparation as a young man. His dad didnt want him to fight, but he knew that if he really wanted to be one, he would have to pass the test. So he sent him where he needed to go, and he passed with flying colors. That doesnt just tell you about Eubank Jr's ability as a boxer, but also his mentality and determination to make it in the harshest of environment, with no luvvy duvvy parent to fall back on when it got tough.

Chris Eubank Sr taught Jr the correct way. Even though Sr was secure and well-off because of his career in the sport, he taught the kids tough love, and they didnt get everything Sr could have gave them, because money and possessions are no god for your children when they become adults.....it will pay dividends for Jr.

For me Eubank Jr is a talent and a rough diamon. Some people here say he has no power! I think its early to say that given the fact he is a novice with little am experience. Give him time, the power will come as he matures and gains experience.

I agree,he has talent for sure but has only just started out as a pro. He needs time to develop.I think 2013 will be a good year for him and maybe 2014 will be where he really starts to go places. He might fight Saunders but right now Billy Joe is a few years in front of him and a fight with Eubank will not be something he is giving thought to.
