Wasn't Billy-Joe on SKY pretty much from his first pro fight?

Not really Eubanks fault that Billy is now on a small exposure TV channel not really moving forward in opponents.

Billys talent it there for all to see, but Eubanks getting the benefit of being on mainstream TV as well as his dad's name. But any hype he'a currently getting he's deserving of.

As for his Dad over hyping him, give it a rest. What should his Dad say?

To answer the OP I'd think Billy has too much for him at the moment but Frank would never let this fight happen anyway.

Yeah, that's about the size of it. The reaction he gets is a bit bizarre really. He comes across well in interviews and beat Bradley Pryce the other week and fought a week afterwards. I don't know what people want from him, other than to lose :)

He shouldn't have had that fight 7 days later, that was a stupid move.
Better to have a meaningful fight or even tough sparring rather than a fight you'll get nothing out of.

I disagree. Better to have an actual fight. A televised one with a crowd. I'd add that it's come to something if we complain about fighters actually being busy.

That his fights are on 5 is purely down to the promoter he is with. And anyway, why the hell not get maximum exposure to the public by going on a free to air channel. i dont see your point there at all.
As for him getting attention,it was a given if he had any kind of talent for it that he would. His dad is a famous fighter, what the **** do you expect?

Billy Joe is a class act and gets talked about plenty on here and in boxing mags. Yes it will be a harder route for him but that is not the fault of Eubank.
Saunders like a few other Brits has an important year in front of him. One where I think he will do well and move onto bigger things. I dont even know why we are debating him and Chris junior to be honest,Eubank will not be anywhere in the plans of Billy Joe Saunders and his team right now.

Even against someone ranked about 200 places lower than your previous opponent?

He'd be best planning to return in Jan against a top 10 Brit or someone above him in the rankings, ie keep moving forward.
He fought twice in a fortnight to fill out the card for his promoter, not for a benefit for him.

Knock Eubank for being on 5 all you want, he is getting far more exposure than some fighters under W-arren and Hearn.

Because the likes of Fury and Eubank are on 5 on primetime terrestrial TV, they are getting the exposure, any exposure is good exposure. They are getting the attention and becoming household names, like Rodney and Del boy, The two Ronnie's. Morecambe and Wise. Ant and Dec. Richard Keys and Andy Gray.

They are becoming legends and appealing to the older demographics who dont even watch much boxing. These OAP's hear the name Eubank and hark back to the days where they remember Benn-Eubank. They can see big Tyson Fury becoming popular, doing things for charity.

Put it this way, this is the sort of exposure, R_c_y _ur_s would die for.

He aint getting no views in old people homes, Eubank Jr and Fury are. This is what you need as a boxer, this sort of following, the Jeremy Kyle demographic getting behind you.

Fury and Eubank are on the way to becoming legends. Strictly come dancing awaits these two mammoths of boxing.

I disagree. It's clearly a benefit to him to get the exposure. Just look at this thread, for example. Better to stay busy if, as some are at pains to point out, he is a 'novice', and better to be in a ring where the crowd can begin to chant your name. Or boo you.

Chris Eubank Jr is the Floyd Mayweather of England.

Man on a mission. The path to greatness awaits. He is the real deal, the second coming, nothing will stop him, nothing will slow him. Audley Harrison cries when he watches Eubank Jr. He is just that special. Is it jealousy? NAH! Its breathtaking greatness, it blows you away. Watch carefully at the people sat ringside when he is blessing the ring, tissue in hand, welling up they are.

Eubank Jr is just that good, NASA are thinking about bringing the space shuttle back, Eubank is ready to take-off, Houston WE DONT have a problem.

No blueprint. 9-0....soon to be 10-0.

This. He is well underrated on here for a start. He cant help getting some media coverage because of his name.

BJS on points if the fight was to happen now.

Blackwell had Saunders running for his life for 12 rounds. He cant take a punch. They wont be fighting anytime soon, but when they do, id favour Eubank.

I think Saunders wins by out boxing Eubank, though as the fight goes on Eubank will have to go more on the offensive and probably at a cost

Well if we take a leaf out of your book Bradley Pryce gave Eubank a tough fight, yet Pryce got absolutely schooled by Billy Joe Saunders.

Plus id like to see how Eubank handles Blackwell and the feedback from others tips towards Blackwell
